In 2025, Lauren Coyle Rosen released her first five albums: Purify Flame Dreamscape, Covers and Veils in Blue, Apollonian Tonic, Athena Visions, and The Fate of Art. She combines synth dream pop with spiritual jazz and chamber sounds. Her music is available on all major streaming platforms.
Lauren is also an award-winning, Pulitzer Prize-nominated author, poet, artist, and cultural anthropologist. She has published twelve books to date, four nonficiton and eight volumes of poetry and art. Her current book project is Goddess: A History (Henry Holt, forthcoming). She coauthored her most recent book with folk-rocker and feminist icon Ani DiFranco, as well as another book with jazz legend and leading orchestral composer Hannibal Lokumbe. Lauren received a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology from The University of Chicago and a J.D. with honors from Harvard Law School. She is currently a fellow at Harvard University and previously was a cultural anthropology professor at Princeton University, where she received the President's Award in Distinguished Teaching, among other honors.
